Krypt is a popular map on the Newskool Fragfest Server. What you may not know though is that there are actually three versions of this map.
The map is a small death match map set in an ancient tomb or krypt.
The original version was called Tomb and was made by Cybopat. It used textures from counter-strike.
You can download Tomb (tomb.bsp) from here.
Then KiteKat released a version called Krypt that used mainly standard Kingpin textures and changed the weapon and item placement.
You can download Krypt (krypt.bsp) from here.
Then in 2005 Trixi released another version that was retextured using Serious Sam textures.
You can download Krypt 2005 (krypt_2005.bsp) from here.
Just extract/unzip all files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.

You can download the skin from here.
Just unzip all the files to your kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
Easiest way to select these skins is to:-
Pull down the console (tilde key ~)
Type in :-
skin "male_thug/frm frm frm"

Magnum Force is my latest map release.
This one is a small, arena style, two level, death match map that is a remake of an old Cujo map dm_1v1biguns.
I just found Cujo's old map and thought it looked like a fun little map. But it only had four player spawns and it had a visual error plus some other minor issues. So I did a remake and added seven more spawns, totally retextured it, fixed the visual error, made the map a little larger and redid the weapon and item placement and amounts.

I have uploaded the original version of Million's death match map Million's Rel Plek. This was released a couple of days before the more well known retextured version.
This version (dm_da_rel.bsp) has standard texturing that is almost stark but I think everything else in the map is the same.
The map is a small, arena style, map with two levels and a building in the middle of the map.

The second, retextured, version is the more popular map (dm_da_relplek.bsp). It was retextured with custom textures from counter-strike.

We managed to get 23 players in the server at one time today. That's problaby the most ppl playing in a server together since the height of Kingpin mania :P

The Fragtown series of death match maps were first made for Quake 1 by Demolition Man and were possibly the first ever urban style death match maps.
Three of these classic maps have been converted to Kingpin. They are Fragtown Bronx (renamed Fragtown Revolution) , Hillsdale and East L.A.
They are all smallish, urban style maps. There is lots of fighting in the streets but you can also enter some buildings and fight on the rooftops too.
