Urban Meltdown VIP Crash Map Released
I have now taken the Urban Meltdown (vip_imswat2.bsp) VIP scenario map for the Crash Squad out of beta.It is an update of a map that (DOA) Iceman made for the hostage rescue mode of the Swat mod. The Swat mod became the Crash mod and hostage rescue mode was dropped in favour of bomb and VIP missions.
It is a medium to large sized map for the Vip scenario.
It's an urban style map where the Vip has to try to escape by making it to the LAPD Police truck.

You can download Urban Meltdown from here.
Just extract/unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
Xmas Vip TH3 Out Of Beta
I have taken the Xmas Vip TH3 map out of beta and released it ready for next Christmas :)This map is an Xmas Crash mod version of the They Hunger Half-Life Mod DM3 map originally made by Dave Waters.
It's a largish, urban style map that includes a warehouse complex.
The Vip escape point is a truck parked in a courtyard ready to roll.
You can download Xmas Vip TH3 from here.
Just extract/unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
Xmas Mod Server Files Updated To v1.63
Monkey Harris has released ver1.63 of the Xmas Mod server files for both Windows and Linux. Just some small changes/updates.Changes are:-
- Any nonexistent maps are removed from the maplist with a warning logged
- Support for kpded2 enhanced eyecam chase mode and other chase tweaks
- Commands can be used during the intermission
- Improved target_lightramp support

Xmas Mod DM And Bagman Map Packs Updated
I have updated the two Xmas mod map packs with all the newer maps. They now contain all known Xmas mod Death Match and Bagman maps (around 80 maps in all).You can download the map packs here:-

Custom Weapons Pak For Crash Mod Updated
Hypov8 has updated his Crash mod HD weapons pack.All the Crash weapons have now been replaced by HD weapon models from cs 1.5.
You can grab the weapons pack from here.
It's in a pak2 file so just unzip/extract it to your kingpin/crash folder. If you installed the earlier version of the weapons pack just overwrite it or if you already have a different pak2 in your Crash mod folder rename it to pak3 - pak9.
New Xmas Mod Map - They Hunger DM3
Here is an Xmas mod version of my They Hunger DM3 conversion.It's a medium sized Xmas mod death match map with an urban setting with several buildings, and a warehouse complex. You can also shoot out all the windows.
The ground is snow covered; and there are the usual Xmas mod map textures, sounds and Christmas trees featured.
It has ample weapons and items and seventeen player spawns.

Custom Weapons Pak For Crash Mod.
Hypov8 is currently working on converting HD weapon models from cs 1.5. for the Crash mod.So far, he has replaced six of the existing Crash weapons with HD replacements and also included his double barreled shotty to replace the current shotty.
He may do more work on the pak or he may not but the weapons he has done look great.
If you want to test out the current pak grab it from here.
It's in a pak2 file so just unzip/extract it to your kingpin/crash folder. If you already have a pak2 in your Crash mod folder rename it to pak3 - pak9.
After testing it out you can leave a comment below this news post or go to the Kingpin Discord and leave a comment in the modelling channel.
New Xmas Mod Map - Xmas Team East Meets West
Xmas Team East Meets West is a Bagman map for the Xmas mod that I have made. It is an update of a map, originally made by Gizmo, for the King of the Streets mod many years ago.It's a medium sized, urban style Bagman map. There are two team bases separated by water with a bridge that traverses the water.
It features lots of Christmas themed textures.
It has ample weapons and items and ten player spawns for each team.

New Xmas Bagman Map - Team Cold Frags
Xmas Team Cold Frags is an Xmas version of my Team Green River Bagman map.It is snowing in the map and so the ground is snow covered.
The water is freezing in the river in the middle of the map, so a player takes damage if he enters the water.
In one of the side levels in the middle of the map, which you reach by taking a lift, you will find Santa slumming it.
