I have updated the old Bigroom map that was made by Deefa. The old map had a few issues so I decided to update it but not to change too much just to fix it. The new map is currently called Bigroom 2018 beta.
I added some more spawn points and fixed the old ones so you don't spawn facing the wall.
I changed the stairs and middle elevated room so they are both much easier to manoeuvre.
I moved the HMG from the top walk way to the ground floor and made a few other weapon/item placement changes.
Did some minor texture changes and architectural changes.

I never realised that some of the bikes and cars used in Kingpin were based on real life models.

It seems the game Dan Koppel envisioned was quite different from the one that was released.

Here is a map I don't think I have seen before.
It is a large death match map set in an old castle called Masochists Keep. There is no indication of who made it unfortunately.
It seems to be well made and has ample weapons and items but only a minimal number of textures have been used.
You can download Masochists Keep (kpdm13.bsp) from here.
Please note that there are two maps with the name of kpdm13.bsp. This one, Masochists Keep, and one made by Oracius a few years later called Pier Pressure.
If you download and install Masochists Keep and it asks you to overwrite a map with the same name but a different file size just overwrite it. That is the other version of Kpdm13.
When Oracius realised there was already a map called kpdm13 he renamed his kpdm13a. So if you overwrite his version just download Kpdm13a from here.
There was a huge crowd on hand for last Thursday's games, especially for death match. But there is always room for more people next week.
Whoever promotes these games is doing a great job :P

Hypov8 is continuing to improve the GunRace bots and fix a few small bugs with the custom models.
As such there is a new pak2 file which has been added to the Luschen Gunrace +bots server.
If you already have a pak2 file in your kingpin/gunrace folder because you have played in the Gunrace server in the last few days please delete that file and you will download the udated file when you join the Gunrace +bots server.
